In order to qualify for a Guide Dog from Freedom Guide Dog you must:
Live on the east coast. We service clients from Maine to Florida.
Be legally blind.
Have completed Orientation and Mobility Training.
Be physically able to care for a dog. This will be determined by an interview and a physical by your personal physician.
Must be financially able to care for a dog. Feeding and annual veterinarian care (approximately $900 to $1,200 a year).
