Margaret Jenca, who goes by Peggy, lives in Pennysylvania with her trusty guide, Eski. Eski is a male, black lab who, according to everyone he meets, is a "beautiful boy!"

Peggy couldn't say enough about Eski. "He is so wonderful and well behaved." Eski loves the snow and can't wait to get outside to play in it. "He's definitely a New York dog," said Peggy.

Peggy said that Eski gets along with every person and every animal he comes into contact with. "Sometimes he can be a little too social."

In addition to helping Peggy around the house and taking their 1/2 mile walk around the neighborhood, Eski takes her to church on Friday and Sunday. He also accompanies her to the local hospital where Peggy volunteers in the kitchen. Eski has to wait downstairs because he can't come in the kitchen. "He's so good, he waits for me."

Eski can even be considered a therapy dog. A neighbor of Peggy's was in the hopital and she took Eski to visit him. "He jumped right up with his front paws on the bed. What a smile that brought to my neighbor's face!"

Peggy is very happy with Eski. "People always tell me 'I wish my dog were like that' and 'He's so beautiful!' Freedom Guide Dogs could not be happier with the wonderful friendship that has formed between Peggy and Eski. What a team!
